Ernest Shmidt, MD
Dr. Ernest Schmidt is a board-certified anesthesiologist with more than 25 years of experience caring for patients with acute and chronic pain. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Southern California and went on to complete a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at Oregon Health & Science University, where he gained advanced training in minimally invasive procedures for diagnosing and treating complex pain conditions.
Throughout his career, Dr. Shmidt has focused on combining technical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. His goal is to help patients reduce pain, restore function, and return to the activities that improve their quality of life.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Shmidt enjoys playing guitar, spending time outdoors, listening to audiobooks about history, and spending time with family and friends.
